MNZ: Betty Paginated #30 Autumn 2007

Dann Lennard does one of the better zines that’s still going, and this is probably the best issue he’s done yet, at least of the ones I’ve seen. I contributed to this, but my bullshit is one of the weaker parts of it. Sadly, Dann threatens that this might be the last issue, since he’s got a kid to go along with that sweet little wife of his now, but I’m sure he’ll settle into family life and want to share his printed opines on classic smut, celebrity cooches, and weird comic books. This issue is, in fact, the comics issue, and I am a man who can’t really wrap my head around grown dudes being all up in comic book stores every week and shit. And even with that personal prejudice, I found this issue highly-entertaining. His blog is right here, and you should go there to find contact and ordering info. (It doesn’t seem to easily say anything about all that, but go bug dude about it.) It’s a ten spot to get it sent to your dumbass in America (as well as most of the rest of the world), but if you’re the type who is fadingly holding onto a love for zine culture in this age of the half-witted over-hyped blogosphere, you’ll find it worth it.
