These were in a box at the dump, and I love car magazines because I have it in my head, like every chumpy white guy of brittle success before me, I will one day tool around in my garage, drinking non-alcoholic beers all day long, tinkering with the gear ratios and chrome accessories and suspension of a project car, which is really my girlfriend I use to escape my wife and kids, but also not really a girlfriend so much as what I put my energy into so that I don't actually start fucking another woman, as if any attractive woman would screw my bloated middle-aged ass. So I get these magazines to look at the informative articles and learn myself through psychological condensation how to do all these things.
Apparently this magazine is to paid members of the National Street Machine Club, and there's lots of pinstriping going on in these pages. But the greatest part is at the very back of every issue, there's a two-page feature on an old classic drag racing car, most every one of which I remember my uncles having pictures of when I was little. They were crazy gearheads. Obviously, as I have a blog, I was much more of a stupid fag. But I've got my middle-aged years ahead of me yet.
