I hate people using the whole blue state/red state thing so much. I don't remember this bullshit before like the 2000 election, but it's really goofy to see supposedly educated well-to-do people get caught up in the same color-based blind tribalism that the crips and bloods have used to help justify not thinking of each other as like actual humans.
I love the cool ass fall nights, full moon coming this week, sitting in the field behind my house, watching the sky and shadows and all that hoo-ha. I was lifting weights out by the goat pen, and thought about how this was perfect set-up for Jason to pop out and choke me with the bar. Then I got all pretentious/indignant, thinking, "Man, that's just like TV, to make me afraid of being outside at night." Then I thought of that Mr. Show sketch where David Cross is pretending to be Allen Ginsberg and he talks about he doesn't watch television. Mr. Show was some great television.
