Countryside is the greatest newsprint magazine in existence, full of little tiny quotes at the edges of pages, and reader-contributed advice on everything the organic well-to-do types would enjoy, as well as plenty of down home nonsense. Where else are you going to learn how to make a useful chicken tractor to organic composting to more regular country folks things like good chicken breading recipes and how to home euthanize your cats or dogs most efficiently?
