We were pretty clear from the beginning that this was their final purpose, but yeah the first week or so, there was some difficulty. It probably didn't help matters that I named and played with the pigs, but what can I say... I love animals. Not enough to not eat them though.
Do your kids have problems eating food that they knew? We raised our own beef when I was growing up, and sometimes it was tough when I was younger.
