I regard stock market charts long range - beginning
to now, so it looks like mountain range with incline
through '90s into new century where spinning
wheels of exceptional progress perhaps peak; "mine"
can only be dug from peaks - as we make transition
to descent (late capitalism - all empires end),
"we" begins to be more important, condition
not conducive to eternal expansion, mend
communal paths, not fences; divisions fracture
whole, individual ownership of matter
no longer matters as one can't manufacture
on-high position once on other side - platter
of silver tarnished by its social dysfunction;
let's coast downhill towards historical junction.
