Interesting how the format of the poem made you leave out the "a" in the last sentence. Its not that you are a lost cause, its like you are wondering why you feel lost. I'm lost because...? I imagine you looking in the mirror wondering why you feel that way, more than that you are. But you just might be. But you're not.
